Welcome to the Year 2 Home Page!

We hope our year 2s had a lovely summer break. This is going to be an exciting year!

We will be exploring our capital city London in Autumn term, looking at its history including the Great Fire of London. Our English texts “Great Fire of London” and “A walk in London” will help us to explore what life was like in London during the time of the Great Fire compared to what life is like now.

This term we will also be travelling to Kenya to learn about the geography of the country. We will not just be staying in East Africa though! Through our music, we will explore the call and response music of West African countries.

It is going to be a busy term of travelling!
