Children need to complete both projects:

Writing/Research Project

Create a presentation that explains the prejudice that black troops experienced during World War Two and some of the reasons why it had developed.

Paint or drawn a famous person from World War 2.

Create a model Anderson Shelter.

Create and make a recipe using rationing guidelines.

Create a recycled household item using the “make – do and mend” attitude adopted during the war.

Weekly Home Learning

Home learning will be set through the multiple online learning platforms that school subscribes to. 

Children should aim to complete a minimum of 30 mins of Maths and 30 mins of reading per week. 

Please complete/submit home learning by 4pm Wednesday each week.

Age related spelling expectations

Although spelling homework does not need to be submitted, children will be tested periodically on the age related spellings set out by the curriculum. 

Please make time to master 3-4 words per week.
