Spring term is going to be a fascinating term in Year 6. We kick off the term with our History topic – Black and British. We will be delving into the lives of Black people in Britain throughout different periods of history with a particular focus on Windrush. Our English text ‘Windrush Child’ will help us to really understand this period of history. In Science, we will be exploring evolution and inheritance as well as light and shadow building on our year 3 learning. We cannot wait for our final unit of English this term which is part of our whole-school fairytale unit.
